May 12, 2018: Sir Wilhelm’s Hastilude & Demo

More information to come.

This is a large scale event/demo showcasing a good portion of what the SCA has to offer.  We want to make a best impression on the public.  Please bring your pavilions, your finery, your standards, and banners.

*** We are sharing the site with the Lion’s Club Flea Market on Saturday until about noon.  We encourage all to be good stewards and chatelaines of the SCA.  ***

The tournaments:
Armored Combat

We will also have an Artisan’s Row, an Information Point, and a need for “Roving Chatelaines.”

—Artisan’s Row—
This site offers a perfect opportunity for an SCA demo.  We would encourage those who are willing and able to teach or show a craft to please join us in showing our art and our hobbies off!  There is ample room to setup a period pavilion or to grab a little space under someone else’s.

Contact info TBD.

—Roving Chatelaines—
This site offers a perfect opportunity for an SCA demo.  While everyone can be a chatelaine at the event, we would like to have a few designated people wearing buttons identifying them as people the public can talk to about the SCA.

Contact info TBD.

–Additional Information–
Service animals allowed.  Well-behaved pets on leashes are also allowed.  Please clean up after your animals.  Pet waste bags will be provided.
There is no merchant space at this event.
Fires only in raised structures (the Fire Department is right next door!)
For those that are mobility challenged, the grounds are fairly flat but very spacious; there is an ample amount of walking.
The site is dry as it is a public demo.
