Baronial Meeting 12/14/25
Attending: Clarice, Maria, Vienna, Peyton, Catalina, Llewelyn, Morgan, Temair, Bastien,

Coronet (Clarice & Morgan): Feedback from St. Eligius, how amazing it was and proud
of folks they are. Morgan mentioned the Middletown Pride Parade coming up 2026.
There was a discussion of where funds should be allocated for the Baronage to
purchase prizes or ancillary materials for events – should they be part of the event
budget or a separate line item in the baronial budget?

A&S Champ: Jotun-Eirikr Bjarnason
MOL (Margarita): not present
A&S (Peyton): At least one Queen’s favor was sent in. The other four kits were given out
to people to do but no one returned them to me by the deadline to compile to send in
with the favor I completed.
Had one A&S workshop on December 11th to make red cords for their Majesties for
medallions. No one showed up. A’isha sprained her wrist so while there, and is not
currently in a position to make cords. Another workshop is planned for December 18th.
I’m hoping we have a better turn out. No other workshops for December due to holidays.
Haven’t yet discussed with Peyton what the plans are for A&S workshops for future
months. Peyton would like folks to suggest ideas for A&S workshops.
Chamberlain: (Llewellyn): nothing to report, everything’s packed away from St. Eligius.

I am working on creating a new Balfar’s Challenge page.
I need a list of our new Champions to update on the web site. I have been updating the
Baronial Calendar so please send me anything you want to have on the calendar.
I am working on continuous improvement to the site and I have been attending the
weekly webminister meeting.
Chronicler (Casimir): Not present, but report sent in:- Nothing to report
Archery (Casimir): Not present, but report sent in: I have all of the loaner gear; I need to
make time to go through it. Practices are currently shut down for the winter. Keep an
eye on the Baronial Calendar in case I add an impromptu indoor practice. If anyone
needs to go through their gear and do any fix/or repair please contact me.
Fencing (Bastien): Fencing practice continues to go well. In the month of November we
had about 8 fencers every week, with about 6 being marshals. There were no
equipment malfunctions or failures, and likewise no injuries or conflicts. Many of the
authorized fencers participated in the Reduced Armor Experiment. They have sign-in
sheets for the previous quarter’s fencing practices available for the MOL to collect at
their leisure. There will be no fencing practice on 12/25 or 1/1 due to a majority of folks
(and all marshals) having other plans for the holidays.
Heavy List (Balfar): Not present
Seneschal (Vienna): Had a meeting with the Kingdom Seneschal and the Central
Region Deputy Seneschal at St. Eligius. There is a focus on getting all groups’ policies
and procedures revised and up-to-date.
Old Business:
St Eligius (Maria & Catalina): Maria and Catalina provided the Event Wrap-up Report to
those in attendance.
Balfar’s 30th 2026 (Casimir): Date April 18th 2026. Working on the event
announcement. I welcome any ideas or suggestions for things to include in the
announcement. I have had a request to have a Rose tournament at Balfar’s. Balfar has
indicated that he can make this work. It is early but I would like to line up Volunteers:
Gate, Merchant Co-ordinator, Marshals
Thrown Leon
Heavy Balfar
Fencing
Archery
Youth
I am also looking for a person to co-ordinate prizes
Financial Policy: Temair and Vienna are working together to create the draft based on
the template provided by the Kingdom Exchequer. Will have something for folks to
review for the next business meeting.
Baronial Custom: Catalina said we went through it two years ago. She’d like to do it at
the same time as the financial policy or later. A’isha suggested we tackle financial policy
first and then address custom. Vienna noted that officer elections are in March so we
should get to that before custom.
New Business:
Temair brought up the storage unit costs went up and asked for a vote to pay for the unit
for six months. Seconded and Passed.
Izzy brought up the possibility for another baronial game night. Looking at potential
dates and sites.

Next Meetng is scheduled for January 18th at 2 pm. Google Meet informaton will be sent out
closer to the date.
