Directions to the Keefe Community Center
11 Pine Street (just off Dixwell Ave), Hamden, CT
The Keefe Community Center is closed on state holidays, and during inclement weather (snow, ice, etc.) follows the Hamden Public School procedures / schedule for closings.
From Route 15
- Take Route 15 to Exit 60 - Route 10 Dixwell Avenue. At the end of the ramp, bear right.
- Stay on this for approximately 2 miles.
- On the right will be a lighted sign of a hair salon. Take a right onto George Street.
- The entrance and parking for the Keefe Center is ahead on the left - about 50 yards.

From I-95
- From the North and East, Take Interstate 95 to exit 45 - Route 10. Then follow directions below.
- From the South and West, take Interstate 95 to exit 46 - Route 122. At your first intersection, bear left onto Route 10.
- Once on Route 10, stay on it for almost 3 miles. You will pas junctions for Route 1 and Route 34.
- Route 10 will bear left onto Whalley Ave. Stay on this for about 0.6 miles. There will be a gas station on your right.
- Take right onto Fitch Street. This is still Route 10. Follow this for almost 1.5 miles.
- Take right onto Arch Street. Follow Arch for about 0.3 miles. At the traffic signals, take a left onto Dixwell Avenue.
- On the left will be a lighted sign of a hair salon. Take a left onto George Street.
- The entrance and parking for the Keefe Center is ahead on the left - about 50 yards.
