Our Current Baronesses have decided to step down. Herein Starts the polling Process to select new Heirs to the Baronial Seat.

Tentative Timeline

letters of intent June 10th 2022 – July 25, 2022
Polling Form Approval After June 25th 2022
Request Zip Code List After June 25th 2022

Candidate questions dead line September 1st 2022

Request Mailing addresses September of 2022 (takes 7-10 days)
Printing/Mailing October of 2022 . (must be done with 10 days of getting the addresses)
Polling November of 2022 (45 days from Mailing)
Counting December of 2022 (3 weeks)
Crown informs DSH January of 2023 (up to 4 weeks)

Letters of intent must be submitted to the Seneschal, Deputy Seneschal,
and Baron/ess by the deadline. Either paper or e-mail are acceptable
vehicles for letters of intent

Any questions for the candidates are to be submitted to Baron Joseph at 12473@members.eastkingdom.org by September 1st 2022.

He will be acting as a clearing House for all of the questions.

Baron and Baroness Requirements

• Must meet all requirements in EK Law
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have lived within the Barony for two consecutive years in the last five years.
• Must have held a Baronial office, stewarded an event, and/or cooked a feast or dayboard within the last five years. If the above requirements are not met (but East Kingdom Requirements are met) an applicant can petition the sitting Baron &/or Baroness and the Baronial Seneschal and one other DSH Core Officer (total of 3) to be able to submit a letter of intent. A decision on eligibility will be made by consensus of the 3 officers petitioned.
• Cannot hold a kingdom level office while serving as Baron/ess
